How I Use Manual and Automated Testing to Reduce Risk
I work in Quality Assurance with a mix of manual and automated testing.
I use tools like Playwright and Postman to build test scripts, but I also do hands-on testing to catch things automation might miss. Both are important, and I think the real value in QA is knowing when to use each approach. The context of what is being tested and when should determine the approach and tools.
Most of my work is about reducing risk. That means thinking through edge cases, testing early in the development cycle, and asking important questions like ‘What could go wrong?’
